What is User Targeting Condition in AdsforWP

Targeted advertising is a form of online advertising that is directed towards audiences with certain traits, based on the product or person the advertiser is promoting.

Follow these simple steps

Step 1: After installing this plugin Ads option will be displayed on the WordPress dashboard ->Ads Option -> create new Ads.

Step 2: Scroll down a little to see this “User Targeting” meta box and click on the “Enable Visitor Condition” button like below the screenshot.

1. Device Type

A Device type is a group of devices. It allows you to gather devices like “Desktop” and “Mobile or Tablet ”.

Once you select “Device Type” option two option will be displayed “Desktop” and “Mobile or Tablet ” as per your requirement you can select where you want to display ads and after that click on the “publish” button.

2. Language Of The Browser

Language Of The Browser – with this you can select the language of the browser what you want.

Once you select “Language Of The Browser” option here is a list of the language.

3. Logged In

Logged In – with this you can target the Logged In and Logged out users

Once you select “Logged In” option two option will be displayed “True” and “False ” as per your requirement you can select where you want to display ads.

If you are login is and the condition is true then ads will be displayed and if you are not log in and the condition is false then ads will be not displayed and after that click on the “publish” button.

4. User Agent

User-agent is software that is acting on behalf of a user, such as a web browser and with the help of this you can target the browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, etc

Once you select “User Agent” option here is a list of option will be displayed as per your requirement you can select where you want to display ads and after that click on the “Publish” button.

For example, if I select Chrome option ads will be displayed on Chrome.

5. User Permission

User Permission – you can also target with the user roles what you want with the option of this option.

Once you select “User Permission” option here is a list of option will be displayed as per your requirement you can select where you want to display ads and after that click on the “Publish” button.

6. Referring URL

A referring URL is the URL of a web page that links to a page on your website, thus sending traffic to your website you can also target referring URL like Google bing, etc

Once you select “Referring URL” option here is a list of option will be displayed as per your requirement you can select where you want to display ads and after that click on the “Publish” button.

7. URL Parameter

You can also target URL Parameter like you can pass URL parameter values to your tracking destination URL

If you want to display ads in particular URL parameter then you need to enter URL parameter

8. Country

You can also target Country which you want.

Once you select “Country” option here is a list of option will be displayed as per your requirement you can select where you want to display ads and after that click on the “Publish” button.

For this first, you need to set IP Geolocation API if you are not set key ads will not be displayed on that particular country.

  • First of all Signup/login at IP Geolocation API
  • Once you login you will get IP Geolocation API key copy this key and paste in Advance settings and then click on the “Save” button like below the screenshot.

A cookie is a message given to a web browser by a web server you can also target cookie which you want

If you enter Cookies value in this field there are only ads will be display
